Welcome, new and old friends! Some of you (Cher) have been with me from the beginning of time. Some of you (Peggy) have just found me. Though some days I am more inspired than others, I am always happy to know that someone is reading and sharing life with me. I'd like to say thank you for taking the time to leave comments. Comments rock.
Today, I ask that you grab your favorite beverage, put on your party hat, sit back, and travel with me through some of my memorable posts. I know. I have a lot listed. I got carried away! Enjoy what you can. Reaching 100 posts is something to celebrate!
Since I started blogging in August, I have met some wonderful people. Face to face, through blogging, I've met Theresa, Cher, Renee and Margo. I've spoken with the Other Theresa on the phone. I had met Debbie before, but, we reconnected in blog land. Portia admitted to me that she lurks my blog daily, but she never comments.
Together, we have laughed at Junk Pumpkins. And then there was the Homely Coming Dance. And I shared small stuff and faith with you.
I introduced you to one of my business partners at Primitiques, Kathie. And then you got to meet Jeannie, at our open house. You've gotten to see Primitiques. And more. And even more.
You got to meet David (my love), who has a blog called Student of Life. Many of us refer to him as Snakelover. He has a talent for photography and I've enjoyed showing him off. I have shared a poem and my love. And again, more of my love.
The doors to my home swung wide open when I shared Floor Decor with you. And I tried to redeem myself with the finished product.
My friend, Mayron, told me I should blog. My mind flashed to myspace and facebook and my mouth said no. Putting everything out there wasn't for me. I was sure of it. Mayron told me to look at Theresa' blog and Debbie's blog. I looked. And guess what. I was sold! Thank you Mayron for being my mentor. And a big thanks to those of you who inspire me every day with your blogs, posts, comments, and words of kindness and encouragement. Thank You!
You are already a winner, let there be no doubt. But, if you'd like the opportunity to win a drawing for a prize, read on.
Yesterday (#99), I posted the giveaway info for the celebration of my 100th post. Some folks left comments on that post, and that's cool. I'll count it toward an opportunity. But, if you would, please leave a nice comment on today's 100th post.
Basically, with your comment today, you will be entered in a drawing for a great book, The House that Cleans Itself by Mindy Starns Clark. If you become a follower, you get another chance at winning. If you post about my giveaway (and tell me) you get another chance. If someone leaves a comment and tells me you sent them, YOU get another chance. Cool, huh?
So, happy 100th post to me! Thank you for being a part of the celebration and good luck!
Happy Day!
~Mindy
ps. I am blown away by the amount of new folks commenting. I can't wait to sit in front of my computer for hours on end, to read about y'all! Please tell me, you are aware that I am loving this!! I can't wait for my next giveaway! haha This one ends Friday at midnight in Texas, by the way.

Hello!
ReplyDeleteI just saw the post on Theresa's blog and I just wanted to let you know that I WOULD LOVE to win this book. I am a sweep and vaccum aholic. I know that sounds silly, but I love to clean especially the floors that I walk on. If I win this book it would probably make my life a lot easier in that area.
Thank you! Have a great day!
Angelica Torrez
More and MORE new people! I can't tell you how much fun I am having! Welcome to all you new folks!
ReplyDeleteJodie, I'm glad you can appreciate mine and Pam's enthusiasm. It's contagious, you know?
Mountainhomestore, thank you for reading and commenting.
Malisa, if I were to put your name in the hat for every "NICE", wouldn't your odds increase? But, I won't! haha However, I like very much how you play by the rules. Kudos!
Mayron! My friend, Mayron! You have learned how to comment! You've got the whole world in your hands now, my friend!
Carrell, I'm glad that you can appreciate the posts without pictures. Thanks!

OK. Let's see if i've got it.
ReplyDeleteI only say nice things. Easy, because that's just who i am.
(I know, the nice thing wasn't supposed to be about me. I just wanted to make you smile.);0)
Here is the nice thing about you, even though we just met. You're delightful sparkly eyes, and sweet smile, made me smile. I can see you have a zeal for life. Thanks
I am fairly new to bloggig myself and thinking i may not be able to wait till blog 100 to do a giveaway. I may have to do it at 79, or some other weird number. Don't think anyone would complain.
I will post about your drawing on my blog, and hope people tell you that is where they read it so I'll get lots of chances to win. Of course then I would have to read the book, and do some organizing, right? =0)
Now I'll enjoy reading more of your posts.

100 posts is something to crow about. I'm probably late for the contest and that's just fine by me. I like coming here. Your enthusiasm is contagious.
ReplyDeleteOh, PLEASE count me in!! Your blog is so fun to read, plus I don't know how to make my house clean itself!! I can't even get my kids to do a very good job, I never thought of making my house do it for me! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun, Leslie
Congratulations and thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteOh do I ever need a book like that. 3 kids at home of various ages, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 hubby...I do okay with most of it, but his office is in the center of the house, the physical heart of the home. He knows the Biblical teachings on it, but I have a hard time getting through to him what a burden it is on me to have to see that all the time. We have to pass by that disaster area to go anywhere in the house. He jokes that he inherited his mother's clutter gene...but it's just not funny...and it's weird the way it makes the rest of the house feel.
ReplyDeleteAND I'm a new follower.
ReplyDeletelove reading your blog! michele jones www.redshedonline.com
