Friday, It's a Good Thing

I do like me some Fridays! It's the end of the work week for my "real" job and time to play at antiquing. I enjoyed the morning visiting with my friend and mentor, Mayron - www.uniqueuniquedesign.com . Good times. This weekend, I'll be in West Texas with a truck and a trailer. Holler if you have any requests, and I'll keep an eye out for treasures.

When The Saints Go Marching In

I love this one. Do you think she is Mary?

I thought I would feature our Saints and Relics today. Some of the frames alone make these a super find. Come and get 'em!

Another Day in Poetry

This page continues to develop and oh, how much fun I am having!
David and I are heading to West Texas this weekend and we may bring some goodies back for the store. That is always exciting!

Which item do you see and like most?

Head 'em Up, Move 'em Out

I walked into the store this morning and saw someone walking out with a chest of drawers. I'm not sure who was more excited. She got a great deal and a wonderful piece that my own mother refinished about 30 years ago. I got space to fill. Hooray for all of us!

I took the opportunity to move things around and then snap some photos.

Enjoy!

Gettin' Down to Bidness

Primitiques has been open since September 5, 2007.

My business partner, Jeannie, is that small town, business owner of the Poetry Feed and Seed. Most folks know it as "Jack's Town and Country". Jeannie and I joined forces last year and together have enjoyed developing Primitiques, which is located inside Jack's. With my primitives and her fine pieces, we have collaborated on an interesting look. It's a fun look you can carry over into your home.

This past weekend, David (my love) and I spent an entire day cleaning, dusting, resetting. I am excited about the new "flow". More work will be done this week on smalls. But, if you are out for a ride in the country, come out and see what we've done.

To whet your appetite, above is a picture taken in my home recently. It's the same look I try to carry over into Primitiques.

Happy Day!
