Prize, Give Away, Free Thing Announcement (#99)

My 100th post is on the horizon. I have searched high and low for a good prize to share with (one of) you for a giveaway.

I've got it! While perusing through blogs of friends, I discovered Life in the Parsonage. The blogger, Sarah, discovered a book called The House that Cleans Itself by Mindy Starns Clark. Notice, the author happens to be using my first name! Was this meant to be or what?

You might recall yesterday's blog which referred to my need for more Balance, Discipline and Organization. This book could be my guide.

If you will click on Sarah's blog, she goes on about the wonders and miracles of this book. She has pictures (Theresa, she has pictures!) to illustrate how it is working for her. She uses old bean cans to store her pens and such. You know I love reusing stuff! I had no cans today, but I took out some of my Kerr jars and threw pens in them, and let me tell you, organization is coming sooner than later in Poetry, Texas!

My gift to one of you (and to me) is this book. I ordered 2 of them today.

Now, here is what you will do. Tomorrow, on my 100th post, if you are inclined to enter yourself in this little giveaway, you will leave a nice comment. It must be nice. Ha! You will be given through Friday at midnight to leave a nice comment on that 100th post. Saturday morning, when I rise, I will do one of those computer generated thingy bobs (or paper in a hat) and select one winner for the book.

If you bring a new reader to me, have them comment with your blog name and YOU will be entered twice. Cool, eh?

If you become a follower, or are already a follower, you will have another chance at winning this life altering, home enhancing book. At this very moment, I have 13 followers. You can see who they are, and confirm that one of them is YOU, by looking at my followers. They can be seen on the left column under "Followers".

Theresa of Garden Antqs Vintage has raised the bar. She just blogged my giveaway to increase my readers and her chances of winning by referrals! The game is on! Yes. I will give you one more extra opportunity at winning if you will mention my giveaway in your blog. Wow! This is getting interesting!

Let's see. Comment. Each referral. Follow me. Blog me. The opportunities are endless with referrals, eh? Yee Haw!

If you already have this book, no fear. I will have an alternate book for you. Just let me know when you comment on my 100th post.

My gift to you today is the sharing of another blog. Tricia at The Domestic Fringe has written a wonderful dedication to her grandma who is singing with the angels today. Check it out.

Happy Life!
~Mindy

ps. My home computer is having issues. So, if you don't hear from me for hours at a time, it's because I am home with the useless machine.

  1. Ok Mindy, you know I'm already a follower of yours, right? You know I pick great places to eat when you come my way, right? You know I'm lost without my camera, right? And...since you are the absolutely sweetest person in Poetry that I know, you must realize I MUST (see cap letters) have this book. Please pretty please!

  2. Mindy:
I noticed that I must make NICE comments. Dang! So out of character for me! But I will...you will know my words are probably kinda fake...Frippery says be your REAL SELF!...but they will be nice! Congrats on your 99th post and my last sarcastic comment for the next few days! Maybe you should buy yourself a new computer for your 100th post!

  6. Boy I really need that book, or a maid! I think my chances are better getting the book. I have always wanted a maid to clean so I could do the things that are really important, like looking at blogs, creating art, decorating, shopping............well you get the picture!
    Congrats Mindy~~Big 100!!

  10. Now, this just isn't fair. I can't become a follower because I don't blog with a google account. I use WordPress. Oh dear me. My chances of winning are getting slimmer by the moment. KNOW I would follow if I could follow, but I can't follow. So sad.

Now I'll have to go post it on mine & see if I have any followers. I really appreciate you checking mine out & very soon I'm doing a 100th giveaway that's slightly overdue. Good luck on figureing this all out.
