Thunder Thighs is this wonderful statuary that I fell in love with at Mayron and Marcie's Unique Unique Design home show.
Did I mention that I love her? Don't you?
My sister and mother gave her to me for Christmas. I love her! Her new home for now is in my bathroom, where I can appreciate her every day.
Did I mention that I love her? Don't you?
YES!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
I modeled for this statue! Did you know that? Well...to be truthful...my stomach was a little flatter then! Think of me everytime you look at Thunder Thighs!

That's quite a rumpus rump she's hauling around as well. I'd say she's a real woman. Your family was so sweet to grant your Christmas wish. Debbie
ReplyDeleteMalisa, one of the endearing qualities of Thunder Thighs is that I am positive one of my ancestors modeled for the sculpture! Reckon you and I are related? ~Mindy
ReplyDeleteI think the artist was a butt man. I love it!

Trash Talk, thank you for the compliment on my rumpus rump! When I haul ass, I have to make two trips!
ReplyDeleteMindy, we could be related...especially since you used the word "bacon" in your Christmas post!
Your cousin,
Malisa
I do love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a statue! I've got one just like it in my bathroom...oh, that's just my reflection in the mirror, sorry.
ReplyDeleteShe is a mighty fine specimen of womanhood. No problem with saggy jeans either.

Hey! I think she looks great! I looked like her in my better days. Now I have thunder stomach, thunder shoulders, thunder chin & other "thunders" I won't mention. Take good care of her. Jan
ReplyDeleteI like her! I can just imagine my children's reactions if I brought her home: "ewwwww, she's nekkid, Mom!"
ReplyDeletelol. So much for art appreciation in the Garden Hat house.
Thanks for dropping by.
I love her. She is classic as well as goddess. I also like her in the bathroom. I have a statue at sink side in my powder and master bath as well. Love your idea in your comment on TnT's blog about getting rid of the red and green and just leaving silver for New Years. I might steal..er...borrow your idea. Hugs, Pam (Also love the new paint color.
ReplyDeleteI love her, Now that's what a real woman looks like. Butt in my case, its Thunder Belly, and thighs and....
ReplyDeleteI love Thunder Thighs, she's great! I love nude statues. I'm glad that sculptor knew what a real woman looked like!

Malisa, does this mean I get the family discount when I shop with you?
ReplyDeletePam, steal away. I used to switch to green and purple...kind of a mardi gras New Years. But, I like metalics now instead.
I am glad y'all appreciate her as much as I. She's just glorious! ~Mindy
