Jan at Summer Sundays suggested that we Mary-fy the pregnant mannequin. So, LucyJane took this task to heart and look. Toga! Toga! I mean, Mary! Mary!
Looks good, huh?
If Grandma Joy's teeth threw ya, this fine silver dish with strands of pearls, Uncle Otis' black bow tie and random glass eyes will really getcha!
When the family comes over Sunday, I promise you, many a picture will be taken with these things jammed into eye sockets. We're funny like that, my family.
And this last pic is for Margo. She requested a close up of this piece which hangs in my den. So, here it is. I did not do this. I don't do this kind of thing. I appreciate it.
i am amazed at those eyes.
ReplyDeleteDisturbing...on so many levels! I can only imagine the family photos!

P.S. I'll call ahead if I'm going to be in town! :) The guest room looks like a great place to be a guest!
My daughter is blind in one eye (she really is!) so I might be buying one of those eyes from you! I'd wrap it up in Santa paper...No, wait, That's even too sick for me! She's think it really funny though. Humor is one of her many strong points!

Okay, now I'm seriously worrying about you! Pregnant mannequins in togas...glass eyes.....Grandma Joy's teeth....? What's next? A rack of hangdowns?

Is someone in your family a mortician? Where do you get all those eyes? And teeth? Now if other body parts start showing up.....

You crack me up!!!! And it was a ray of sunshine. From someone who tends to be a little "stodgy" in my decorating, I love the crazy things you do. Thanks for the chuckles! Jan
