A Poem for You

I am on limited time and energy, but I feel an obligation to my readers. (aside---that is just funny!) So, today, in brief, and until I feel further inspiration, I will share with you a poem.

Sweeter than a pickle dill,
Is a lovely girl named Phil.

Now...yes, that was the poem. The story behind the poem? My mother's name is Phyllis. My dad fancies himself a poet. He actually woo'd her with this little ditty!

I made up and posted this one on the comments and was encouraged to put it on the main page, so here it is:

Mayron, our friend, fair and true.
Blogging would be fun for you!

If you can offer up a poem, please feel free to do so. Each week, I may make one day Poem Day, so, be prepared!

Happy Day!

  1. Well I'm gonna guess it worked for Daddy-we got you. Thanks for your sweet comments. Now we've got to get Mayron talking out loud. Deb

  2. You're right, Deb. Maybe we should woo Mayron with a poem. It worked for my mom!

Deb, if we get a comment out of her, that will be progress.

  5. Ok. An update from Mayron. She will likely not be posting. Marcie is working on a blog for Unique Unique, so keep your eyes and ears open. I will send out their link when it is up. Mayron said she can barely keep up with emails and she doesn't see herself becoming a daily blogger. But, she finds our banter entertaining!
