Amen! I think our nation was a better place when school kids recited the pledge every morning. For we have drifted from the principles stated in that pledge. Some of our leaders seem to have even forgotten that we are indeed a Republic. And they don't seem to understand what God, liberty and justice mean. They strive to divide this indivisible nation for their own selfish gain. Like sheep, we give up our liberty for a false sense of security and comfort. "We the people" must demand better. It's up to us to accept personal responsibility and be accountable. And to hold those who we elect accountable as well.
