David told me he had not been to Canton's First Monday in about 10 years. Those are the years we refer to as "The P-M years". You know, "The Pre-Mindy years". So, he went with me this weekend and look at this! He pushed the Wonder Wheeler going in...
And he toted the Golden Girl heading out.

Yep, a good man is one who is willing to push (or pull) a cart and carry heavy objects, even in front of other manly men. Two important criteria for choosing the right fella.
ReplyDeleteWhat?... you're not calling it "B-M", Before Mindy?
tehe, Debra
And he does it with a smile on his face. Truly a jewel. Jan
ReplyDeleteHe is a keeper, but....a really outstanding man would have been pushing you around in the cart...or toting you over his shoulder...whichever!

That was so nice of him to carry that out for you, to walk around with you while you looked at everything you wanted to. You do have you a sweet man.
ReplyDeleteSo glad we got to see y'all Saturday ....
We had a blast.
Steve had to go back to work this morning, I'm missin' him. :-( He does start his 7 days off though Friday, something to look forward to.
Have a great day!
Tracy
Awwww! Thank you, baby! We always have fun in whatever we're doing! And Saturday was no exception!
ReplyDeleteFor those not in Canton on Saturday, let me tell you there came a real gully washer in the early afternoon! Steve, Tracy, Mindy and I were sort of "trapped" in one of the buildings for quite a while as the monsoon-like rain poured down outside (and sometimes inside). It's hard to tell from the before and after pictures, but there was a torrential downpour in the middle of all that power shopping!
Mindy,
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed! You both are!!! I remember when I took Mark (my DH) to First Mon. for the first time and saw his reaction when we came over the hill and he got a good look at just what he was in for...priceless! I love Canton and I would love to talk Jan and Dulcy into joining me on a trip to Texas! Blessings, Katie
PS~ Almost forgot..You won the book on my give away and both you and David won a vintage circus collage sheet!
Gotta love that great smile, too!!

No we didn't buy the white cabinet, there is no way it would have fit in the back of my vehicle, the trailer would have been nice to have pulled but I enjoyed not having to deal with it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe soon we can find some larger pieces around here for our booths, we sure need some!
Steve was tickled that he got the tonka truck in West Monroe coming home yesterday, he wants to start a collection of old toys like that, this one is in great shape.
Gee he doesn't even look hot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great guy to carry the goddess.
Margo
Is David not the cutest guy! And Wow! that gorgeous smile! Angie
