Traditions

Mother's Day Traditions? My Mom likes to come out to my place on Mother's Day and have a work day. We all do work around my garage/house/pond/garden/barn/land. Whatever. Isn't she the best? I'm not sure what she wants to tackle this time, but I guarantee, it will be much better by the time we are done with it!
This is Ellie Mae. She is one of my "kids"...just threw her in for good measure.

What kind of traditions do you share with your family?

Happy Mother's Day Weekend to you all!

  1. My son-in-law is cooking for all the "Moms" in his life (Allison, his Mom & me). I hope this is the beginning of a wonderful tradition. Jan

  2. Hi Mindy , My daughter and 3 most adored grandchildren will take us to brunch after church. My sweet son in law will pay and be happy about it! Then Jen and I get to pick where to go shopping afterwards. We already picked Monticello. AND the sun is suppose to shine! It's gonna be a great day. Your Mom is so sweet to have a work day at your house. Have a great day , Sue

  5. No mother's day traditions for us. I actually don't get to spend this mother's day with my mom, but my kids have a carnival at their school, so we'll do that tomorrow afternoon. Enjoy your day!!

  6. I love the idea of your Mom signing up for a work day with her lovely daughter. One of my good friend's mom does the exact same thing every mother's day...and multiple times throughout the year. Unfortunately my mom isn't on the healthy side, so we usually opt for a nice visit with food.
