Life is Short

My niece, Amy died Sunday. She'd had diabetes since she was a little girl and more recently, was on dialysis awaiting donor organs.

We aren't promised tomorrow. Love today. Live today. Cherish your family.

I will miss this blond ray of sunshine.

Happy Life!

~Mindy

  1. Mindy, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I just returned home from a funeral myself...a friend from college. She actually took her own life. Ironically one of her organs was used to save the life of another.

I too am struck by how short and how fragile life can be.

I pray God's comfort for your family during this time.

  2. So sorry for your family's loss. I've been taught that lesson a few too many times too. We get busy with our "lives" and forget to cherish "life".

    Take care.

  5. Mindy, my heart goes out to your family at this time. I wish I had the right words to say, but words do not come easy at a time like this. Know that I will be saying prayers for all of you and asking God to lift you up with the strength that only He can provide and with peace.

I do wish more people would be organ donors. Organ donation is something I push big time.
